About Me

Kimo Sunshine Pope began fantasizing about being a stylist when she was 12 years old. A family friend, that was in beauty school, gave her a pair of professional shears and taught her about professional color lines… 26 years and a couple of careers later she got a chance to live her dream and to go to beauty schoool at the European Institute of Cosmetology.

Kimo is a fully licensed Cosmetologist offering Hair Cuts, Color, and Styles, Facials, Waxing and Body Wraps, Manicures, Pedicures, and Gel Polish products. She started at Exodus Spa in 2010 as the lead hair stylist and worked with Framesi, and Morrocan Oil hair products. Shellac and Gelish nail polish application was a huge part of her business. She began in her current location in 2013.

One of her primary focuses in the beauty industry is to offer excellent wedding and special events services such as special event hair, makeup, nails.

Kimo’s beauty philosophy:

“Whether it is your special day or an average day, I can make it special with a facial, a hair style, or a relaxing pedicure and I will always give you the attention that you deserve. Taking the personal time we all need to care for ourselves and be cared for is my primary motivation.”

Kimo grew up in Portland, Oregon but is a gypsy at heart living in Indiana, California, Arizona, New York, Tenessee, and Missouri. She was a dancer from age 4 to 26 so don’t be surprised if she moves around the salon a lot. She loves knitting, crafting, yoga, and hiking….even with all of those interests don’t be suprised if your conversations end up around cooking or eating food, her real passion.
